The Infamous Verizon Exit Interview
For those of you that missed it the first 3,876,873 times, here it is again in all its glory.

When I got fed up with his shitty tech support job at Verizon (after only 3 days on the job, no less) he quit. Upon leaving, I was asked to fill out an exit interview. I guess honesty is the best policy after all.

If you enjoyed this article then you will LOVE this one. One of the most popular things on the Internet today!
its good !!
but everyone is not so lucky !
Rightly said the Captain.
lol.. i plan to replicate this some day.
Careful on some of the responses if you plan to do this! I’ve gotten in legal trouble for this before (hence the censored parts) and don’t make references to killing coworkers – this is post 9/11, after all.
Man, your words are actual words of so many who are suffering and will suffer at these places on earth..hope wisdom get bestowed on them just like it has been on you and they QUIT.
It has always been a wise decision to quit restroom every morning after discharge and so it is wise to QUIT these human created cubicles fill of shit …hope the freshness of outer air fills your lungs n soul before entering another COMPANY.
Please keep in mind I quit there 3.5 years ago. I have not before or since worked at a call center, as they are fucking hell. Makes for good comedy, though.
Although you quit it 3.5years ago, things have not changed much since then. The place is still like a pile of crap and there are many who write good things in the exit interviews but mean and feal exactly the way you did. like someone said, everyone is not all that lucky
He was expecting some good work but unfortunately he did’t get it.
but it is reality It is same kind of work i almost all company.
We need to understad the business requirement and then select the job as per our capability….
I ended up here while searching about Tommy v2’s Verizon Exit Interview | the Tommy|Zor era. thx for the info!
Hi Tommy…
I wish i cud have got the opportunity for the exit interview….well its 3.5 years since u gave the world an idea about tech support…things havent changed since…like still it takes a lotta pain to explain dat the white box is indeed a modem given by the company….and my favorite one….not to press the small reset button on the back of linksys router at whim..it kills a tech support agent everytime…

I love the comments on that site. “Photoshopped!” Yeah, buddy, I Photoshopped something handwritten that I made up. *sigh* People, are, in fact, fucking retarded.
You chose the job. They didn’t force you to work there. Don’t make other people suffer because you made a poor decision in life. Deal with it and move on. Your comments are rude and unnecessary. I’m a Call Center manager. Half of the employee’s try to act like this. You are all just looking for work and trying to make a buck. If that’s what you want, do it and STFU. If it’s not your environment, move on with your life.
The difference between me and half your employees is that I worked there for a few weeks to make some cash and they’re there for life. If they try to act holier-than-thou, that’s their problem and not mine. I’m a fucking industry professional in charge of multi-million dollar equipment and data, and they’re in charge of when they take their smoke break to get high to forget what they’re doing. As for telling me to move on, what part of COPYRIGHT 2005 don’t you understand, Mr. Manager?
I have been w this co for almost 10 years, the benefits are good but there is no advancement unless you are dating a manager,or an absolute jerk to others. I laughed so hard at this piece by you, and I think you are funny and somewhat honest. I am saying that in a nice way. I have been here way too long. The salary is good, $57-75K a year. I am employed in the NE.This company does not care about its employees only the financial gains. There is no fun here at all.
why is Verizon fucked up? cause all good people are working in Verizon Business
Best laugh I’ve had in… oh, at least fifteen minutes.
Good shit man. On my last performance review “self-evaluation” I wrote some rather pointed comments about being forced to work with morons who were clearly incompetent and not qualified to hold the roles they were being paid for. I even provided examples from some recent projects that I’d worked on with said fuckwits. I was politely asked to “move on” a few weeks later, as the management “felt that my attitude did not properly fit with the culture of our company”.
I don’t know how these useless pricks get so entrenched (apart from constant blowjobs and pathetic fawning) but I was glad to go, because I didn’t fancy the inevitable assault charge.
I pretty much wrote the same exit interview. Though I filled it out circa 2007. Therefore I had even more space to paraphrase Mein Kampf. I then proceeded to gather all of my employees contact information and happily signed them all up for a lot of Jehova’s Witness Programs.
Would you be interested in personally meeting your local Jehova followers?
-Yes
and if so what is a good time/place of meeting?
- I work late Monday through Friday, therefore anytime from 8pm-11pm is fine. I am open to meet Saturday and Sunday’s preferably early morning because that’s when I’m more alert.
Feel free to use the backdoor for I am hard of hearing. You will have to knock loudly and ring the bell until I hear you so please be patient.
I know that a lot of my coworkers would be interested so feel free to stop by my place of employment. We close at 6pm therefore 5:45 preferably because were less busy and they won’t mind staying late to talk. The address has been listed below. I have also included several other peers/coworkers that have expressed an interest. Thank you for your time and consideration, Jesus rules!
I wish I had an exit interview when I was laid off, instead I got hauled in and asked if I planned to sabotage the company before leaving by having a party in my pod. It really kept me motivated my last week.
