Heh heh Just read the last couple paragraphs, and you’re totally right. The battling system is seriously effed up and you were freaking SPOT-ON with the boss battles! I had no idea how to put the frustration of those things into words, but you did it perfectly! ha ha

And as for the soundtrack, I think it’s eargasmic!! One of the best soundtracks of the year (actually was in the running for said title on…Gamespot, was it?) It’s more of a chillax soundtrack for the most part…More ambient sounds rather than a given melody, which is why you probably describe it as “blunt.” Yeah, none of the songs really have a strong, punch-line melody like previous (besides XII?…ish?) FF’s, so I see where you’re coming from.

Anyway, you should listen to “Dust to Dust RnB remix” on YouTube. Freaking awesome track…at least if you’re in the meditating mood…but after reading my posts, which probably annoyed the crap out of you, along with the fact that they’re talking about one of your least favorite games of all-time…well…to put it lightly, you’re probably NOT in the mood for meditation. But for anyone else who reads this, check it out! It rocks!

Wah wah waaaaah

Seesh, dude. “I didn’t enjoy the game.” would suffice just fine. Some people like it, some don’t. Recently, the opinions of all these newer Final Fantasies have been VEERRRY mixed. I personally am really open-minded and don’t find too many games I DON’T like, but this one is admittedly NOT the most intense thing ever. At least when I’m playing it and people are watching, the graphics look impressive and so does the battling even though sometimes all I’m doing is pressing one button the whole time and maybe another for a couple paradigm shifts…I actually like the battle system once I got used to it O.o Or maybe I’m going insane and don’t remember whether I like it or not ’cause I freaking lost my copy of the freaking $70 (+tax) game!!

Oh well…The Square Enix people are listening to what all the gamers have to say about it, and I hope they’ve taken what we’ve said that should be changed to heart and are going to make an awesome recovery in XIII-2…not to mention Vs. 13, which they announced like 4 freakin’ years ago! ha ha

I for one must agree with you. I am an avid fan of the FF series, but I would rather have 10,000 germ covered cactus needles stuck all over my manhood than to put myself through another FF13 play-through. I know that if I were on the Square team for 13, I would own upto anything else but the truth on that game. In short. FIRE ALL THE FUCKERS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIT GAME THEY CALLED FF13. Do a recall and removed the FF name off of the game.
